In my experiments with photography using the iPhone, one of the consistent challenges I’ve faced is capturing intense, vibrant colors. Invariably, they look too hot or too pink or too yellow or too… something. Strong color can overwhelm the lens of the little iPhone camera – at least in the hands of an amateur like me.
Sometimes, I decide to just go with it and even vamp up the color some more with a tool like Instagram.
Sometimes, I bring out the deeper colors in order to tone down the hotter yellows using an editing tool like Snapseed.
And sometimes, I just get it right.
