I loved all the holiday photos. Living in the South, you forget how beautiful a landscape can be, covered in a blanket of snow. The half-buried sled makes me laugh…maybe it’s because I’m relieved I can’t “bury” a sled in my yard, or that it’s a symbol of activity that’s ceased (like a treadmill that has clothes hanging all over it).
From time to time, we northerners use snowbanks as temporary storage. (See also: skis, shovels, etc.) A sled in the snowbank means a hot chocolate break is underway, not that the fun’s over.
