Random Instagram selections of a landscape that continues to astound me.
Oregon knows how to do sunsets.
Not particularly clear (there’s only so much an iPhone can do), but still a glimpse of Mt. Hood on a glorious Sunday afternoon.
On an impulse I drove an hour north one night after work. The light was fading fast, but the last bit of sunset from behind me set Mt. St. Helens aglow.
Moon and firs.
At the highest point in Portland, you get a great view of downtown and, looming in the haze, Mt St. Helens.
At that same point in Portland, turn slightly towards the east, and there is Mt. Hood.
