Pictures from a whole bunch of states, three months and one Instagram account.

There are many pictures I could use to tell the story of moving halfway across our big gorgeous country, but I’ll let this snap of sunset on day two do the talking. (Billings, MT)

My new home is full of angles and textures, doing interesting things to the light and sky. (The ridge alongside Multnomah Falls, Oregon)

In one of my first hikes in Oregon, I stumbled into a grove of redwoods. “Grove” is not a majestic enough word, though. Try CATHEDRAL. (Hoyt Arboretum, Portland, OR.)

Yes, there is poop in the photo. But I can’t describe to you just how awesome it felt to have her look up, see me, nicker, and come running. I miss you bunches Uninhibited Red and I’m glad we got to visit. (Jackson, WI.)

From a plane. The textures and colors were amazing and the light was moody and dangerous. 20 minutes later, one of the worst landings of my life in the middle of a sandstorm. (Somewhere over Nevada.)
All photos taken by me, with an iPhone6.
