Photos from one Instagram account during one month in one city covered with 10 inches of snow.
Having lived with snow most of my life, I wasn’t necessarily thrilled with all of the white stuff that brought Portland to a halt several times this winter. But taking long walks through the wintry, car-free landscape had its own charms.
A day later, the clouds were gone and golden sunshine changed everything.
The snow ground things to a halt for several weeks, but now, at the end of January, it’s only a memory.
This is the shape of things to come.
