Things I Saw – 2019:February

February was full of travel and not enough time to blog. But I did get my camera out from time to time. Here’s what I saw:

Sunset over the Gulf of Mexico. (Yes, I know the horizon is crooked. Reason 117 why I will never be a professional photographer.)

On my way to Florida, I spent an entire day in the air, first watching the sun slowly light up the mountains on the west coast…

… until I watched it set as we flew over the Gulf of Mexico.

One morning I watched the sun rise over the mountains in Boise.

And another morning I couldn’t see the sun rise, but I watched the light slowly change from dark to dawn in a deep forest on an island in the Puget Sound.

In a month of rushing, there were moments to watch and savor. I’m glad I had a camera around to catch at least a few of them.
